These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the services provided by Opalite Hour ("I", "me", "my"). By requesting a quote, placing an order, or working with me, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Services
Opalite Hour provides website development, hosting, search engine optimization, and writing services as described on the Services page. The exact scope of each project is defined in the order details we agree on before work begins.
Orders & Payment
When you place an order, you will receive a summary of the selected services and pricing. A deposit may be required to begin work, with the remaining balance due before the finished site is delivered. Payments are processed through Stripe. Until full payment is received, I retain the right to withhold final files or launch.
Project Timeline
Estimated turnaround times are provided in good faith and depend on how quickly you provide content, feedback, and access to any needed accounts. Significant delays on either side may shift the agreed timeline.
Revisions
Each service includes the revisions stated in its description. Additional changes beyond what is included may be billed at an agreed rate. I will always let you know before any extra charges apply.
Refunds
Because website work is custom and begins as soon as I start, deposits are generally non-refundable. If a project is cancelled partway through, you may receive deliverables completed up to that point. If I am unable to deliver the agreed work, you will be refunded for the portion not completed.
Intellectual Property
Once a project is paid in full, you own the finished website and its content. I retain the right to display the work in my portfolio unless we agree otherwise in writing. Third-party tools, fonts, or stock assets used in your project remain subject to their own licenses.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, timely content and feedback, and lawful material for your site. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you supply.
Limitation of Liability
Opalite Hour is not liable for indirect or accidental damages, loss of revenue, or issues caused by third-party services, hosting outages, or content you provide. My total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for that project.
Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the updated date.
